Filling a need left by almost all of the other fabric stores leaving the county, the Fabric Shoppe in Camarillo has been quietly serving a growing demand. Opening in March 2013 with a solid base of almost 100 bolts of fabric, the Fabric Shoppe has responded to the growing needs of the community and has expanded the selection of fabrics to well over 1000 bolts of fabric, as well as adding a large selection of sewing & quilting notions and supplies.

Initially responding to the needs of local quilters, The Fabric Shoppe is continually expanding and has been capturing the attentions of a growing group of hobbyists, garment makers, and decorators by offering a diverse selection, unique types & styles and a great variety of quality fabrics.

The Fabric Shoppe seeks to offer a pleasant and unique shopping environment that is a refreshing change of pace from other retail stores, and offers a charming shopping experience alternative.

Serving a need, the Fabric Shoppe has solicited the talents of local artisans and instructors to provide a wide variety of classes and workshops to offer instruction for all levels of sewing from beginner, to hobbyist, to experienced skill levels. The Fabric Shoppe routinely invites local artisans to demonstrate and teach the community.

The Fabric Shoppe is expanding to meet the needs of a growing community, and is continuing its quest to bring in more styles and types of fabrics, discover unique and interesting choices, offer more sewing notions and quilting supplies, and offer more seminars and classes.
